Would I recommend Duff's to someone for wings? Definitely, may be. The texture of the wings itself was a bit dry, I would rather have a juicy, crispy wing than a dry and overcooked wings. We ordered some pizza logs on the side, which were okay. Overall the service was great, but the food so so. It will not be my go to for wings in Rochester, when we have some great options available.
There's ample space for a large group, a bar and the menu is not so kid friendly. Hard drinks are served here. Some cocktails are included in the menu.
Duff's has easily the best wings in Rochester. i'm sensitive to heat but think that Mild Medium is perfect, and Medium Light is great for days when i'm feeling adventurous. Service is always pretty quick, restaurant is clean, food is dope! their blue cheese is amazing and the drinks are great!
Not that impressed with all the hype that surrounds this place. I didn't feel like the hot wings were anything special. They were good, but not great. A bit on the pricier side for wings too.
Fries were mediocre. No salt and not much flavor. Got much worse as they cooled down.
Wait staff was young but kind and attentive. They also had a couple quality micro-brews on tap.
The place was stinking. There were flies everywhere. Everything tangible was greasy and gross. We ordered a simple dish - pretzel bites. The dip was fine. The pretzels themselves were stale and felt like they had just been refried. Had higher expectations from Duff's, would not recommend coming here.
Very good Buffalo wings, some of the best I've had. Beware of the heat! Medium is truly "Hot"! Cooked perfectly with nice flavor. They have great combos for you and a couple friends to eat and drink. They did not skimp in the bleu cheese, carrots and celery either. Service was good but I wouldnt call it excellent, hence the 4 stars.
Cheap, quick, but dry wings. Beer hikes price up quick, most alcohol prices not listed on menu. Ordered wings, fried pickles and beer. There are better places nearby.
A pretty good place for wings. I especially liked the char-BBQ and the spicy BBQ. Not a lot of options apart from wings on the menu.
I don't really understand what all the hype is about. I went here for the first time expecting their wings to be exceptionally good based on the rave reviews and what I have heard. Instead I found their wings to be extremely average and no better (or different) than the chicken wings you would get from a decent, locally owned pizza joint. In fact, I have had much better wings from some of these places. And what Duff's has to offer is most certainly not better than the wings you would get from Jeremiah's or The Distillery, and in fact pale in comparison to a pretty large extent. I did not find the wings here to be any bigger or meatier, and they tasted like pretty much all the other good but average wings I have had over the years. Maybe I didn't order the right sauce and should have went for something hotter, but what I had was pretty average, and certainly nothing to write home about.
On a more positive note, the service was relatively fast and our waitress was very pleasant. They also had a fair number of decent craft brews on tap from names like Southern Tier and Goose Island, as well as a few Sam Adams offerings.
You may want to check this place out if you really like wings, but just don't expect to be blown away.
In summary: Don't believe the hype.
